A History in the Home… and in Home Theater
From home theaters and media rooms to living rooms, dens, bedrooms and beyond, Berkline is America’s “household word” for quality recliners and groups.
Our company’s history is a legacy that began in 1928, when a craftsman by the name of Jacob Popkin founded Berkline in Springfield, Massachusetts. His goal was to create comfortable, quality furniture at a fair price. In 1937 he expanded the company to Morristown, Tennessee, and that’s been our home and headquarters ever since.
Today, Berkline is a recognized leader in the home theater industry. We’re committed to making the seating you need, with innovations that make your theater experience easier, healthier and more rewarding.
